Setting Your Intention for the Weekend Ahead

Intentions are like magnets. The more we declare them, believe in them and act in ways to manifest them, the more powerful and real they become.

There’s something sacred about the transition into the weekend.

Whether your calendar is wide open or fully booked, taking a few mindful minutes to set your intention can shift your energy from chaotic to calm, from reactive to rooted.

As a medium and intuitive, I often remind my clients: your energy goes where your intention flows. If you’re craving clarity, peace, or reconnection start with one simple but powerful question:

Let me be honest...

This weekend? Mine is full. Between baseball games, a First Communion, birthday celebrations, and taekwondo tournaments. I already know it’s going to be go-go-go. But that’s exactly why I’m setting an intention.

Because when life gets loud and busy, it’s even more important to ground myself in something deeper.

So here’s how I’m incorporating this sacred pause:

What do I want this weekend to feel like?

Not what you “should” get done. Not what’s expected of you. But how you want to feel.

Maybe you’re calling in:

  • Rest and stillness

  • A deeper connection with your intuition

  • Healing from something that felt heavy this week

  • The courage to speak your truth

  • Or joy, just simple, soul-led joy

A Simple Ritual to Set Your Weekend Intention:

  1. Find Stillness: Light a candle. Breathe deeply. Sit with yourself for just a few moments and notice what your soul is asking for.

  2. Write It Down: Grab a journal or your Notes app. Write a sentence that starts with: “This weekend, I intend to…” Complete it with honesty. It can be simple:

    • “…listen to my body.”

    • “…choose peace over pressure.”

    • “…be present with my family.”

    • “…trust the signs from Spirit.”

  3. Seal It In: You can draw a card, meditate, or simply speak it aloud. Ask your guides or higher self to support you in aligning with this intention.

  4. Return to It: Check in with yourself throughout the weekend. If you start to feel off-center, pause and gently return to your intention. Let it guide your choices.

Remember:

You don’t have to earn your rest. You don’t need to do more to be worthy of peace.

You are allowed to show up for yourself in ways that nourish your spirit. And setting an intention is a beautiful way to begin.

💫 Let your weekend be guided by your soul, not your to-do list.🌿
